Empowerment 4 Girls + Brave Practice

We partnered with Empowerment 4 Girls in spring 2022 for a performance about resilience, affirming the self-worth of all women and girls. We worked with members of the Heartsparkle Players for this performance.

We partnered with the Heartsparkle Players Playback Theatre Ensemble for a collaborative Playback Theatre performance in support of Empowerment 4 Girls (E4G) at their solstice retreat event at Millersylvania Park.

The Heartsparkle Players have been serving our community with hope and compassion for 31 years! Brave Practice is a new community engagement program of Window Seat Media using Playback Theatre to foster connection and belonging in community, particularly with youth.

We came together to share stories of resilience during these pandemic times. Playback Theatre is an original form of interactive improvisational theatre where audience members tell real moments from their lives and performers enact them on the spot using music, dialogue, metaphor, and movement.

We were thrilled to gather in community with E4G to support their work affirming the self-worth of all womxn and girls.
